As a permanent IT Licensing and Hardware Asset Analyst, you will report directly to the IT Hardware and Software Asset Manager and play a vital role in optimising our IT Hardware and Software Assets.

In this role, you will be responsible for supporting all aspects of IT Software and Hardware Asset Management. Your analytical, administrative, and organisational skills will ensure that our asset records are accurate, our assets are used efficiently and that we remain compliant and audit-ready at all times. You will manage and resolve discrepancies within the Asset Management Database, facilitate the Joiner-Mover-Leaver process, and provide insights to help us optimise our portfolio of around 5,000 laptops, 3,000 field devices, 5,300 mobile phones and 200 licensed desktop applications. Your work will include compiling analysis on licence positions, supporting software renewals, identifying process improvements, and ensuring rigorous data-driven management of our hardware estate.
We are looking for candidates with at least two years' experience in IT departments with a strong background in data analytics, small project management, and stakeholder collaboration. Proficiency in Microsoft Office 365, especially Excel, TEAMS, and PowerBI, is essential. Familiarity with ITIL, ITSM, ITAM processes, IT hardware asset management, software licensing, and tools like Service Now and Intune will give you a distinct advantage.
