Project Manager - 5‑Month Contract

400 - 425 p/d (Outside IR35)

Edinburgh (Hybrid)

We're looking for an experienced Project Manager with strong project initiation skills to support the delivery of a new common data model project.

In this role, you will lead early stage project definition and delivery planning, working closely with senior stakeholders and multidisciplinary technical teams. You'll be responsible for shaping the project approach, establishing governance, and ensuring clear alignment across the organisation.

Key Responsibilities:

Lead project initiation activities, defining scope, objectives, timelines and risks. Produce high quality PIDs, business cases, and associated documentation. Engage and influence senior stakeholders, ensuring shared understanding and buy in. Work collaboratively with business teams and multidisciplinary tech teams to drive delivery. Provide clear, confident communication, both written and verbal, across all levels.

Skills & Experience:

Proven experience as a Project Manager within data, digital, or technology environments. Strong background in project initiation, documentation, and governance. Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to collaborate, challenge and influence. Experience supporting or delivering data related projects (desirable).
