As a Pre-Sales Solution Architect, you'll collaborate with our sales and business development teams throughout the pre-sales process. From initial client engagement through requirements discovery, solution design, and proposal development, you'll help shape technical solutions for application modernisation, integration, digital experience platforms and cloud-native applications.
You'll serve as the bridge between client needs, our commercial objectives, and our delivery teams, ensuring technical excellence and clear differentiation in every engagement. This will be evident in the quality of our solutions and proposals.
A key focus area involves championing AI-enabled capabilities and tools across the software development lifecycle. You will also work with partners and internal COEs to help us continuously evolve our offerings and capability.
You'll also contribute to leading our UK&I application modernisation and AI-augmented engineering offerings, helping refine our go-to-market strategy while aligning with our global vision.
Engage with clients to explore how technology, especially Generative AI, can streamline applications and enhance software delivery
Facilitate pre-sales activities such as client workshops, technical demonstrations, proof of concepts, and proposal development
Build lasting relationships with key stakeholders and technology partners (Microsoft, AWS, GitHub, Google, and others)
Collaborate effectively with distributed teams, balancing technical, commercial, and client engagement priorities
You combine technical expertise in application and software development with a consultative, collaborative mindset. Solution Architecture experience in technical consultancy or client-facing roles within custom software development and cloud technologies, with hands-on experience in pre-sales solution architecture and RFx processes as the solution lead.
Previous experience of backend engineering (Java, C#, or similar) with understanding of cloud-native and modern software development practices
Strong communication and stakeholder management abilities, with experience building trust and influence across all organisational levels. This should be supported by strong written, numerical and presentation skills using Office 365 or similar office productivity suites.
Ability to guide multidisciplinary, distributed teams through complex pre-sales engagements
