Join an established company based in the picturesque New Forest, Hampshire, where you'll play a key role in maintaining and supporting crucial IT systems that enhance visitor experiences and operational efficiency. This is a full-time permanent position offering up to £35,000 and opportunities for professional growth. What will you do? Provide daily technical support across the organisations IT infrastructure, assisting users with hardware, software, and network issues Manage and maintain network systems, including switching, Active Directory, server configuration, and managed printing Support core systems such as EPOS, CCTV, and IP Telephony to ensure seamless operation Assist in the installation, upgrade, and maintenance of IT hardware and software, including workstations and other equipment Monitor and troubleshoot technical issues, escalating problems to third-party contractors when necessary Conduct IT equipment audits and support the implementation of new systems and projects Provide support during events, including cabling and system setup, as well as weekend support for staff and contractors Ensure compliance with GDPR, PCI DSS, and other relevant data security standards Support project work related to infrastructure upgrades and new technology deployments The ideal candidate:
Relevant experience in providing IT support in a business environment Strong knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite, business IT networks, Active Directory, and server setup Excellent customer service skills and ability to communicate clearly, both verbally and in writing Full UK driving licence and willingness to travel as required Industry certifications like CompTIA or Microsoft (desirable) Experience with EPOS, CCTV, or IP telephony systems (preferred but not essential) Proven troubleshooting and problem-solving abilities, with a proactive attitude to learning and development Ability to adapt easily to bespoke software applications and work effectively both independently and as part of a team What's in it for you?
