On behalf of our client we are seeking a skilled Joiner to join our team on a permanent basis. The successful candidate will be responsible for the construction, assembly, and fitting of wooden structures and components aboard new-build fishing vessels and marine repair projects. This is an exciting opportunity for someone with a keen eye for detail, experience in bespoke joinery, and ideally, a background in the shipbuilding or maritime sector. Duties and responsibilities of the Joiner:
Construct and fit vessel interiors to client specifications based on technical drawings. Install floor joists, soundproofing, and insulation to marine standards. Fit marine-grade plywood flooring and build walls and partitions using fire-treated timber. Manufacture and install bespoke joinery including bunks, seat lockers, wardrobes, and kitchen units. ...
