Joinery Design TechnicianWe are currently recruiting on behalf of a well-established and growing business based in Northallerton. This forward-thinking company has built a strong reputation for delivering high-quality bespoke joinery solutions and is now looking to expand its team with the addition of a Joinery Design Technician on a full-time, permanent basis.This is an excellent opportunity for someone with a strong understanding of both design and manufacturing processes, who is keen to play a key role in bringing bespoke projects from concept through to production. Working closely with the workshop team, you will be responsible for translating designs into accurate, production-ready outputs. This is a hands-on role where collaboration and attention to detail are essential.Key Responsibilities:Producing detailed manufacturing drawingsCreating CNC-ready files for productionInterpreting client briefs, drawings, and specifications into workable designsLiaising closely with the workshop team to ensure designs are practical and achievableSupporting problem-solving during the production process and adapting designs where requiredEnsuring all drawings and files meet manufacturing and quality standardsAssisting with material specifications and cutting listsUpdating and maintaining design files and project documentationSupporting continuous improvement within design and manufacturing processesAssisting with project timelines to ensure efficient workflow and on-time deliveryAbout You:Must have experience using Cabinet Vision software is highly desirableStrong understanding of joinery design and manufacturing processesAbility to produce accurate technical drawingsGood communication skills and a team-oriented approachA proactive and detail-focused mindsetWorking hours: 08:00 17:00 Monday to FridayIf youre looking for a role where you can combine design expertise with practical manufacturing knowledge, this could be a great next step.Press apply to submit your CV, or contact Annabel Mills at our Northallerton office for further information.JBRP1_UKTJ
