Junior Estimator

Are you looking to take the next step in your estimating career with a reputable main contractor? We’re delighted to be partnering with a well-established construction company based in the Central Belt who are seeking a driven Junior Estimator to join their expanding pre-construction team.

Our client is a recognised main contractor with a strong pipeline of projects across commercial, industrial, education, and public-sector developments. The Role

As Junior Estimator, you will support the estimating team in pricing a variety of construction projects, gaining exposure to both traditional tenders and design & build opportunities. This is a fantastic chance to learn from an experienced, supportive team while working on exciting, diverse projects.

Key Responsibilities:

Assisting with the preparation of tender submissions Carrying out quantity take-offs and measurement Gathering and analysing subcontractor and supplier quotations Supporting senior estimators with cost planning and budget preparation Maintaining accurate records and databases for ongoing and upcoming tenders Attending site visits and pre-tender meetings as required

About You

We’re keen to speak with candidates who have:

A relevant construction or quantity surveying qualification (HNC/HND/Degree) A genuine interest in estimating and pre-construction Strong numerical skills and attention to detail Good communication and xkybehq IT skills (including Excel and estimating software) A proactive, positive attitude and a desire to progress

Whether you’re a recent graduate or have some experience within a contractor or consultancy environment, this role offers a clear development path and valuable hands-on learning.
