We have a fantastic new job opportunity for a Junior Proposal Engineer / Trainee Estimator Assistant who is numerate and proficient in Microsoft Office / 365, including Excel, with excellent written and verbal communication skills.
As the Junior Proposal Engineer / Trainee Estimator Assistant, you will collaborate closely with the Sales team on large-scale projects, gaining valuable hands-on experience while developing both your technical and commercial expertise. Your responsibilities will include preparing project proposals and cost estimates, learning to use hydraulic calculation software, and deepening your understanding of client requirements and project specifications. You will also build knowledge of key sprinkler design standards such as LPC BSEN 12845, NFPA, and FM Global.
You will manage enquiries, liaise with customers and suppliers, and support the team with administrative tasks and workflow coordination.

Candidate Requirements
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office, especially Excel
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
