Own and manage a portfolio of national retail accounts, acting as the primary commercial contact. Take full P&L responsibility for your accounts, delivering profitable and sustainable growth. Lead forecasting, budgeting and demand planning in collaboration with internal teams. Develop and execute clear account strategies, including negotiation of trading terms, promotions and distribution. Analyse sales performance and market trends to identify opportunities, mitigate risk and inform decision‑making.
Experience and skills that will deliver success in this role To succeed in this role, you’ll be a commercially astute National Account Manager or Key Account Manager with a track record of delivering growth across UK retail accounts. You’ll combine strong analytical skills with confident relationship building, and be comfortable balancing autonomy with teamwork.
Proven experience managing national or key retail accounts within the UK. Experience working with major high street or multichannel retailers. Strong commercial acumen, including ownership of full P&L responsibility. Confident in forecasting, budgeting and data‑led planning. Excellent negotiation and communication skills. Background in toys, games, gifting or a similar consumer goods category. Experience attending trade shows or representing a brand at industry events.
