Seasonal Contract: Immediate start 31 st October 2026
Hours: 54 hours/week, 6 days (1 day off)
Salary: £1250/month tax-free + contract completion bonus (£200/month) + share of guest tips
Join our luxury hotel team on the stunning, car-free island of Sark! Stocks Hotel is seeking an experienced, reliable Kitchen Porter to maintain the highest standards of hygiene and support our chefs in a fast-paced, professional kitchen.
Key Responsibilities:
Maintain exceptional kitchen cleanliness and hygiene in line with strict schedules and food safety standards.
Wash, sanitize, and store kitchen equipment and utensils efficiently.
Assist chefs and kitchen staff as required.
Communicate positively with colleagues and respect shared living arrangements.
Report maintenance or safety issues promptly.
Essential Skills & Attributes:
Strong attention to detail and hygiene.
Reliable, adaptable, and able to work under supervision.
Respectful of shared accommodation and communal living.
Physically fit for demanding kitchen work.
Previous kitchen or catering experience required.
Right to work in UK essential
The Package:
Season: Immediate start October 2026 | 54 hrs/week (split shifts, 6 days on/1 day off)
Accommodation: Spacious (shared) en suite room, cleaning & laundry included
Meals: Staff meals provided on & off shift
