About the role We are looking for a Lab Technician to join our team at DS Smith Devizes, where you will play a key role in supporting site quality performance. You will be responsible for ensuring all laboratory activities are planned, managed, and carried out efficiently, helping to maintain high standards across product quality, hygiene, and compliance.Working closely with the Quality Assurance Manager and the wider site leadership team, you will provide essential quality support while building strong relationships with internal teams and external customers. You will also champion quality and hygiene standards across the site, promoting a culture of continuous improvement.Key ResponsibilitiesThis role will have several key responsibilities including:Supporting the management and maintenance of site quality systemsManaging and conducting the onsite audit programmeCarrying out daily quality audits on products leaving the sitePerforming day-to-day quality testing within the laboratoryCommunicating regularly with all departments across the site on quality mattersSupporting and delivering quality-focused improvement projectsPreparing and responding to supplier questionnairesSupporting the QA Manager during customer and external auditsMonitoring complaint trends and ensuring actions are implemented and closed About you We're looking for a motivated and detail-driven individual with a passion for quality, compliance, and continuous improvement.
