Outside IR35 Our Client has a requirement for a Lead Civil & Structural CAD Designer, who will be required to work on a contract basis in Aberdeen Role Purpose: To lead the production and development of civil and structural CAD design deliverables for pipeline and infrastructure projects. The role will involve creating and developing 3D models, technical drawings, and design sketches across all project stages from Concept through to Detailed Design. Working as part of a multi-discipline engineering team, you will ensure design outputs are delivered to high technical standards, within budget, and in accordance with project schedules and applicable codes and standards. Job Role Responsibilities: Prepare civil and structural design solutions across Concept, FEED, and Detailed Design stages. Produce 2D and 3D design deliverables for civil, structural, temporary works, and permanent works. Develop models and drawings using: Aveva E3D for BIM modelling and drawing extraction. Autodesk Civil 3D and AutoCAD for civil design elements. Work within a Common Data Environment (CDE). Support construction sequencing, 4D simulation, and clash detection activities (desirable).
