My client is recruiting for a Lead Commercial Manager to manage a Civil Engineering business with a turnover in excess of £30million. My client is a self-delivery business on highways and public realm projects across the South West and along the South Coast. As Lead Commercial Manager you will: * Lead financial performance: Take full accountability for revenue and margin delivery, using robust financial insight to anticipate risk, drive corrective action, and lead monthly CVR reviews that convert data into decisive action. * Develop high-performing teams: Structure and resource teams to meet programme demands, embed meaningful 1-to-1s and development planning, and foster capability growth through coaching and training—actively modelling the behaviours and culture we expect. * Shape NEC contract strategy: Provide expert leadership across all forms of NEC contracts (including Highways Term Service Agreements), guiding risk management, dispute resolution, and commercial optimisation throughout the contract lifecycle. * Champion commercial governance: Embed disciplined ...
