We are seeking a Technical Lead Engineer to be the driving force behind the architecture and delivery of a ground-up platform. This is a technical leadership role, not a people management one. You will own the technical vision, set the standards, and lead by example without the overhead of direct reports, focusing entirely on engineering excellence and innovation. You aren't maintaining legacy code; you are building a brand-new platform from zero to one. You are a heavyweight hands‑on engineer with a track record of leading complex projects and making high‑level architectural decisions.

Backend Experience: BE‑Leaning role. Extensive professional experience with either Python or Node.js. Frontend Expertise: Knowledge of React (and the wider JS/TS ecosystem) to ensure a seamless full‑stack user experience. E-commerce Pedigree: You have experience building transactional platforms, storefronts, or high‑traffic D2C products. AWS Architectural Ownership: Lead the design and system re-platforming of core applications, ensuring the new D2C platform is resilient and scalable. Hands‑on Innovation: Contribute high‑quality, clean, and comprehensively tested code across the entire stack. Technical Roadmap: Define and articulate the long‑term technical strategy in collaboration with stakeholders and the broader engineering group.
