We are working with a top-tier law firm seeking an experienced Lean Six Sigma Analyst to join its central Transformation and Innovation function, based in Manchester with hybrid working. This role sits at the heart of the firm’s change agenda and focuses on improving business processes, driving operational excellence and supporting major transformation programmes across legal and business services.


You will play a key role in shaping how the firm operates, partnering with senior stakeholders to deliver measurable, data-driven improvements that enhance efficiency, quality and client outcomes.


The role

As a Lean Six Sigma Analyst, you will support senior transformation leaders while taking ownership of individual projects and leading workstreams within larger programmes. Applying Lean Six Sigma methodology and strong analytical capability, you will deliver sustainable process improvements across the firm.

This role suits a proactive, self-directed professional who is comfortable working independently and influencing at senior levels within a professional services environment.


Key responsibilities

  • Deliver process improvement initiatives using Lean Six Sigma principles
  • Map, analyse and redesign end-to-end business processes
  • Use data, metrics and root cause analysis to identify and prioritise improvement opportunities
  • Lead smaller transformation projects independently and contribute to larger firmwide programmes
  • Build strong relationships with legal and business stakeholders, including senior leadership
  • Promote best practice in operational excellence, change and continuous improvement
  • Support and coach colleagues to embed a culture of improvement


Skills and experience

  • Proven experience in a Lean Six Sigma, operational excellence or transformation role, ideally within a law firm or professional services environment
  • Strong hands-on Lean Six Sigma experience with a track record of delivering measurable outcomes
  • Experience in business analysis, stakeholder engagement and project delivery
  • Ability to work autonomously while managing multiple priorities
  • Excellent communication and influencing skills
  • A continuous improvement mindset with strong commercial awareness


Lean Six Sigma certification (White Belt, Green Belt or Black Belt) is highly desirable. PRINCE2 or Agile experience is advantageous but not essential.
