Learning Mentor - Swindon Secondary School | Immediate Start Pay: £85-£100 per day

Academics Ltd are supporting a welcoming and inclusive secondary school in Swindon that is seeking a dedicated Learning Mentor to support students with additional and complex needs. You will work closely with pupils on a 1:1 basis, helping them build confidence, engage with education, and feel safe and supported.

Key Responsibilities

Provide tailored academic and emotional support to students. Act as a positive role model, promoting confidence, resilience, and independence. Foster a nurturing, inclusive, and supportive learning environment. Build strong, trusting relationships with pupils. Support behaviour management and help students overcome barriers to learning. Work closely with teaching staff to deliver personalised support strategies.

Ideal Candidate

Experience working with young people in an educational or mentoring setting (desirable but not essential). Strong communication and interpersonal skills. Patient, empathetic, and supportive approach.
