Learning Support Assistant - Adults (Mathematics)

Windsor Forest Colleges Group is looking for a Learning Support Assistant Adults (Mathematics) to join our Adult Learning team at Slough & Langley College on a permanent part-time basis. This part time position requires working 20 hours per week for a total of 37 weeks per year during term time Mondays to Thursdays. The role pays between £10,819.36 and £12,025.30 on Scale G of the Support Staff pay scale but the full time equivalent of this salary would be (G16 £24,098 to G19 £26,784 FTE).
Learning Support Assistant Adults (Mathematics) As a Learning Support Assistant for Adults Mathematics, you will support adult learners studying maths programmes, including Functional Skills and GCSE Mathematics. Learners may have a range of additional needs, including SEND, learning difficulties, or barriers to learning. You will provide learning support on a one-to-one basis, in small groups, or within a classroom setting, working closely with teaching staff to help learners access the curriculum. Your role will be a key in supporting learners to build confidence, develop numeracy skills, and achieve their learning goals and qualifications.
