About the Role This is a varied and highly rewarding role where learning goes beyond the classroom. You will support pupils with autism and complex needs to build confidence, develop independence and engage in meaningful day-to-day experiences. You will work both indoors and outdoors, supporting structured learning as well as practical activities such as cooking, gardening and community-based experiences. Key responsibilities include: Supporting pupils on a 1:1 basis and in small groups Assisting teachers with lessons, activities and behaviour support Encouraging positive behaviour and emotional regulation Supporting daily routines, transitions and personal care where required Delivering engaging learning experiences both in and outside the classroom Supporting life skills such as cooking, gardening and independence Building strong, consistent and trusting relationships with pupils
