Do you have a passion for supporting children with additional learning needs?
We are recruiting
compassionate and dedicated Learning Support Assistants (LSAs)
to work within primary and secondary school settings.
About the Role
You will provide
targeted 1:1 or small group support
to pupils who require additional assistance with their learning, behaviour or emotional development.
Your role will involve helping students remain engaged in lessons and supporting their overall wellbeing within the classroom environment.
Your Responsibilities
You will:
Support pupils on a
1:1 basis or in small groups
Assist students with SEN needs in accessing learning
Help pupils understand instructions and complete tasks
Support emotional regulation and behaviour management
Encourage participation in classroom activities
Work closely with teachers and SENCOs
Monitor and report on pupil progress
Promote a safe and inclusive learning environment
Skills, Experience & Abilities Required
You should:
Be patient, calm and understanding
Communicate effectively with children and staff
Be confident supporting pupils with additional needs
Work well as part of a team
Be reliable and organised
Show empathy and a positive attitude
Previous experience working with SEN students
Experience supporting children with autism or ADHD
LSA or Teaching Assistant qualification
