Learning Support Assistant - Full Time (Term Time Only)

Hertfordshire - Watford or Hemel Hempstead Monday to Friday | 8:30am - 3:30pm Start Date: September 2026

About the Role: We are looking for a committed and caring Learning Support Assistant (LSA) to work within primary or secondary schools across Hertfordshire. This is a full-time, term-time only role supporting students with additional needs, helping them to access the curriculum and thrive in a school environment.

Key Responsibilities:

Provide 1:1 and small group support to students with additional needs Assist teachers in delivering engaging and inclusive lessons Support students' academic, social, and emotional development Help manage behaviour and promote a positive learning environment Work collaboratively with teaching staff and SENCOsRequirements:

Previous experience working with children or young people Experience with Special Educational Needs (SEN) is desirable A valid DBS on the Update Service, or willingness to apply (DBS cost can be refunded after 20 days of employment) Patient, reliable, and proactive approach Strong communication and teamwork skillsWhat We Offer:
