Learning Support Assistant
to join their supportive and forward-thinking team. The provision caters for students aged 11-16 who face barriers to mainstream education and require structured, personalised support to achieve their potential. Provide targeted 1:1 and small-group support to students, following teacher direction and using tailored strategies to meet individual learning needs. Participate in team meetings, contribute to discussions on interventions, and support the monitoring of student progress. Help maintain a safe, calm, and inclusive learning environment, promoting positive behaviour and safeguarding student wellbeing. Experience working as an LSA or support worker in a secondary SEN, PRU, or Alternative Provision setting. Proven experience supporting young people with challenging behaviour or social, emotional, and mental health needs (SEMH). Familiarity with curriculum areas such as English, PSHE, and Humanities. A genuine passion for helping young people from challenging backgrounds succeed academically and personally. You will be part of a supportive, collaborative team who work together to create positive outcomes for young people every day.
