A lovely and welcoming primary school in Camden is seeking a Learning Support Assistant to support a KS2 class from January. This full-time temporary role is ideal for someone who enjoys working closely with pupils, supporting learning and contributing to a positive classroom environment.

Role: Learning Support Assistant (KS2 Class)
Start Date: Second week of January 2026
Location: Camden, London
Contract: Full time - temporary (January to end of academic year)
Pay: £500 - £560 per week

Responsibilities

As the Learning Support Assistant, support pupils within a KS2 class during lessons and structured activities
Work alongside the class teacher to support learning, engagement and independence
Provide targeted support to individuals or small groups when required
Encourage positive behaviour, confidence and participation in learning
Contribute to the smooth running of the classroom and daily routines

Requirements

Experience supporting pupils as a Learning Support Assistant in a primary school setting.
Experience working within KS2 or similar age groups
Able to build positive, respectful relationships with pupils
Calm, patient and supportive approach to learning
Available full time from January for the duration of the role
