About the Role
A friendly and inclusive primary school in Lambeth is seeking a dedicated Learning Support Assistant to join their Key Stage 2 (KS2) team on an April start. The successful candidate will work closely with pupils who require additional support to access learning, build confidence, and make consistent progress.
This is a fantastic opportunity for an enthusiastic Learning Support Assistant who is passionate about helping children succeed academically and socially in a vibrant, community-focused school.
Key Responsibilities
Provide tailored support for pupils in KS2 who need additional help in class.
Deliver one-to-one and small group interventions in literacy and numeracy.
Encourage pupil participation, confidence, and independence.
Collaborate with the class teacher and SENCO to implement learning strategies.
Support positive behaviour and create a nurturing learning environment.
Candidate Requirements
Previous experience as a Learning Support Assistant or working with children in a primary school.
A patient, caring, and proactive attitude.
Strong communication and teamwork skills.
Commitment to supporting the progress and wellbeing of every pupil.
