We are always recruiting dedicated Learning Support Assistants to join one of our welcoming and inclusive schools in the Newark-on-Trent area. This role is perfect for someone who enjoys helping pupils overcome challenges, build confidence, and reach their full potential in a supportive learning environment.
About the Role:
Provide one-to-one or small group support to pupils with additional learning needs
Assist teachers with lesson delivery and classroom organisation
Encourage pupils' independence, confidence, and participation in class activities
Promote a positive and inclusive learning atmosphere
Work closely with teachers and SENCOs to support tailored learning plans
The Ideal Candidate:
Experience supporting children or young people (school-based experience preferred)
A compassionate, patient, and encouraging approach
Strong communication and teamwork skills
Relevant qualifications such as CACHE Level 2/3 or equivalent (desirable but not essential)
Passionate about helping every child succeed
