Learning Support Assistant

Location: Bordon Start Date: ASAP/ September 2025 Salary Scale:  £13.80 to £15 per hour

GSL Education are in the process of finding experienced Learning Support Assistants to work with children who have Complex SEN and Multiple Learning Difficulties at a special school in Bordon.

We are keen to hear from applicants who have previously worked in SEN schools, or from applicants who have a background supporting Complex SEN in care. From these experiences, you will have gained transferable skills that will help you in this role - medication administration, manual handling including use of hoists, feeding, personal care and challenging behaviour may be encountered in this position. Previous experience in all of these areas is not necessary as the school have a great team of trained staff who can support you throughout the day, but showing proactiveness and engagement when facing these new situations and a willingness to learn is essential.
