Location: Liverpool Hours: Full-time Contract: Long-term placements Pay Rate: £90–£120 per day (dependent on experience)

About the Role

Teaching Personnel is recruiting Learning Support Assistants to work across a range of Alternative Provision, SEMH, and specialist SEN schools across Liverpool. These full-time, long-term roles involve supporting pupils who require additional support to access education due to social, emotional, and behavioural needs or complex learning difficulties.

You will work closely with teachers and specialist staff to support pupils with a variety of needs including SEMH, ASD, ADHD, trauma-related behaviours, and moderate to complex learning difficulties. Many pupils in these settings benefit from smaller class sizes and a personalised approach to learning, meaning your role will be key in helping them engage with education, build confidence, and achieve positive outcomes both academically and personally.
