\n\nMarcilly Recruitment’s client, a well-regarded independent property firm based in West/South West London (Zone 2), is seeking a proactive and organised Lettings Administrator to support their busy Lettings Team. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone who thrives in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment and is looking to grow within a collaborative and friendly office.
\n\nYou will be supporting the Lettings department, providing essential administrative and organisational support to a range of team members depending on their seniority. \n\nRole Overview
\n\nLocation: SW/W Zone 2– office-based full-time
\n\nHours: Monday to Friday, 9:00am–6:00pm + one Saturday/month, 9:30am–4:00pm
\n\nSalary: £28,000 – £30,000 (open to slightly higher for candidates with relevant lettings experience)
\n\nBenefits: 20 days holiday + bank holidays Office closure between Christmas and New Year (3–4 extra days) Discretionary bonus Pension
\n\nStart Date: ASAP (flexible for the right person)
\n\nCore Responsibilities – Basic Role Includes:
\n\n- \n\t
- Organisational support to the Lettings Team \n\t
- Day-to-day administrative support and coordination of the Lettings Team \n\t
- Maintain the Lettings database \n\t
- Manage the Lettings Team diary \n\t
- Prepare and coordinate advertising and marketing Meet and register clients Assist in securing and retaining landlords \n\t
- Prepare documentation, KYC, and compliance checks for applicants and landlords \n\t
- Progress tenancies from offer to move-in \n\t
- Filing, photocopying, and general administrative duties \n\t
- Answering telephones \n\t
- Actively work towards letting the firm’s properties \n\t
- Maintain high standards of service for both applicants and clients \n\t
- Understand and take responsibility for compliance with the 1979 Estate Agents Act and Consumer Protection Regulations 2008 (training provided) \n\t
- Conduct AML checks when required (currently for rent equivalent to €10,000/month or more) in liaison with the compliance officer \n\t
- Maintain client confidentiality at all times \n\t
- Attend relevant training courses \n
