Are you passionate about supporting children's learning and development? We're now recruiting for an established and experienced Level 3 Teaching Assistant, interested to take on a, flexible temporary support role from December 2026. This is a reputable, three-form-entry primary school with a faith ethos.

As an Level 3 Teaching Assistant, this can be a highly rewarding and varied role in a school. Your primary goal is to support children with additional needs or mild to moderate learning difficulties to reach their full potential.

These roles are ideal for support staff with prior experience supporting in a primary school with good knowledge and skills supporting SEND on a mild-moderate basis.

Day to day tasks of a Level 3 Teaching Assistant may include:

Provide 1:1 Support individual students in EYFS - often those with learning difficulties, disabilities, or behavioural challenges.
Happy to support the Nursery in the afternoon
Assist small groups with classwork or specific learning activities.

Adapt materials or explain tasks in simpler terms.

Encourage independence, confidence, and participation in class.
