Experienced Level 3 Vehicle TechnicianAn established and highly regarded dealership based in Stourbridge is looking to expand its workshop team with the appointment of an experienced Level 3 Vehicle Technician.Specialising in the sale and preparation of high-quality new and pre-owned motorhomes, the company prides themselves on delivering exceptional standards in both vehicle presentation and mechanical reliability. Every vehicle that leaves our premises reflects our commitment to quality, safety and customer satisfaction and our workshop team plays a vital role in maintaining that reputation.This is an excellent opportunity for a skilled technician seeking long-term, stable employment within a growing leisure vehicle business.Stourbridge40 hour working week, permanent£32,000 - £35,00 plus bonusesThe RoleAs a Level 3 Technician, you will be responsible for carrying out a wide range of mechanical and technical duties, ensuring all motorhomes are fully prepared, safe and road-ready prior to customer handover.Your responsibilities will include:Servicing and routine maintenance in line with manufacturer guidelinesMechanical repairs including brakes, suspension, steering and engine workTiming belts, clutches and gearbox repairs where requiredElectrical diagnostics and fault findingPre-delivery inspections (PDI) and vehicle health checksMOT preparation and repair work (Desirable)Diagnosing and resolving mechanical and electrical faults efficientlySupporting habitation checks and ancillary systems (training provided if required)Ensuring all paperwork and job cards are completed accuratelyMaintaining workshop cleanliness and adhering to health & safety standardsYou will be working on a variety of base vehicles and motorhome conversions, offering interesting and varied daily tasks compared to a standard car dealership environment.What Were Looking ForWe are seeking a technician who is professional, reliable and takes genuine pride in their workmanship.Essential requirements:NVQ Level 3 (or equivalent) in Light Vehicle Maintenance & RepairProven workshop experience in a similar roleStrong diagnostic and problem-solving skillsAbility to work independently and manage workload effectivelyFull UK driving licenceDesirable but not essential:Experience working on motorhomes, campervans or light commercial vehiclesKnowledge of habitation systemsMOT Tester qualificationJBRP1_UKTJ
