Stairlift Engineer
Location: Hertfordshire, Buckinghamshire, Essex & Cambridgeshire (Field-Based)
Salary: £38,000 - £40,000 + Overtime + Company Benefits

The Opportunity

We are currently recruiting for an experienced Stairlift Engineer to join a well-established and growing business, covering the Home Counties including Hertfordshire, Buckinghamshire, Essex, and Cambridgeshire.

This is a field-based role where you will be responsible for the service, maintenance, and repair of stairlift equipment within domestic environments, ensuring a high level of customer satisfaction and safety.

Key Responsibilities

  • Carry out routine servicing, fault finding, and repairs on stairlifts
  • Diagnose electrical and mechanical faults efficiently
  • Ensure all work is completed in line with relevant safety standards and regulations
  • Provide excellent customer service when attending residential properties
  • Complete all relevant documentation accurately and on time
  • Participate in an on-call rota (if applicable)

Requirements

  • Proven experience working as a Stairlift Engineer or within a similar role (mobility equipment, lifts, or access solutions)
  • Strong electrical and mechanical fault-finding skills
  • NVQ Level 3
  • Full UK Driving Licence
  • Ability to work independently and manage your own workload
  • Strong customer-facing skills
