Lift Technician Role:

• Offer technical lift engineering knowledge and guidance on-site and over the phone to your team of Lift Engineers.

• Play a critical role in ensuring the safe and efficient operation of lift systems.

• This position demands exceptional technical expertise, attention to detail, and a comprehensive understanding of advanced lift mechanics and electronics.

Lift Technician Responsibilities:

• Test and commission passenger lifts to regulatory and performance standards.

• Use advanced diagnostic tools to identify and resolve technical issues.

• Interpret technical drawings, wiring diagrams, and manuals.

• Conduct load, speed, and brake performance tests.

• Calibrate and adjust drive systems, controllers, sensors, and safety devices.

• Document findings, prepare reports, and recommend improvements.

• Ensure all work meets health and safety requirements.

• Work closely with installation and maintenance teams for smooth project handovers.

• Stay updated on the latest lift technologies and best practices.

Ideal Lift Technician Candidate:

• NVQ 4 - Qualified / Part Qualified

• Minimum of 3 years of experience delivering a Senior Lift Engineering role.

• Excellent Leadership, customer service, and communication skills

• Ability to follow lift manuals and electrical diagrams, adhering to health and safety requirements

• A full UK driving license - Essential
