About the Role:

Are you a calm, compassionate, and organised live-in carer looking for a stable placement?

Paragon Home Healthcare is seeking afemale live-in carerto support agentle, intelligent gentleman with a C4/5 spinal cord injurywho lives with his wife in their peaceful home.

We previously supported this lovely family in 2021 they are incredibly kind, respectful, and a pleasure to work with.

This is ashort-term live-in placement lasting approximately 23 months, beginning as early as19th December, depending on the clients wifes operation date.

About the Role:

Location:SW4, Clapham excellent transport links, close to local amenities.
Client personality:Quiet, thoughtful, appreciative; values routine and an orderly home.
Daily support:Personal care, continence support, showering, meal prep, household duties, and light support for his wife during her recovery.

Household:

• Non-smoking

• No pets

• Female applicants preferred due to personal care requirements

Rota & Pay:

• Live-in position lasting approx. 23 months

• Start date:As early as 19th December

• Pay rate:£136.38 per day

• Food allowance:Provided and paid for by PHH

• Travel allowance:Competitive per placement

Live-In Care Responsibilities

• Assist with washing, dressing, showering, and personal care

• Support continence care, including one night-time pad change

• Prepare balanced meals to support weight gain

• Maintain a clean, tidy, well-organised home

• Provide gentle, minimal support for the clients wife post-operation (approx. 30 mins/day)

• Encourage independence and follow a calm, structured routine

• Observe and record wellbeing and ensure safety

Training & Support:

Paragon is a specialist provider of spinal cord injury and complex care.
Youll receivefull paid trainingbefore starting, plus support to get familiar with the care routine.

No prior spinal care experience required just warmth, reliability, and willingness to learn.

• Observe and record the clients health status

• Assist with activities of daily living

• Maintain a safe and clean living environment

• Ensure confidentiality

• Support medication routines (client self-administers)

• Arrange transportation for appointments when needed
