The client is bed bound, but has moving and handling equipment to assist her out of bed with a second carer, should she wish to. The client has capacity but can at times be forgetful about when her carers have been in, this has caused her anxiety and historically has triggered her to call the emergency services. We are hoping that having a live in package of care will ease her anxiety and provide her with companionship. Our client will soon turn 108 years old, she is sociable and enjoys sharing memories, but also likes her own space. The successful candidate will be patient, calm, empathetic, and able to provide reassurance and emotional support when needed.
