Live-in Porter - Prestigious Residential Estate, Chelsea Salary: £35,000-£40,000 + Apartment/Flat (SW3) Location: Chelsea, London Hours: Mon-Fri 8am-6pm | Alternate Saturdays 8am-1pm | On-call rota every 4 weeks Contract: Full-time, permanent We are partnering with one of London's most iconic and high-profile estate management companies to find a first-class, live-in Porter to join a tight-knit, trusted team supporting a luxury residential and mixed-use portfolio in the heart of Chelsea. This is not your average porter role - we're seeking someone who delivers above-and-beyond service, with a calm, polished presence, strong communication skills and a talent for problem-solving. About the Role You'll be the face of the estate and a key on-the-ground presence - ensuring the buildings are safe, immaculate and run like clockwork. You'll support residents, manage contractors, respond to emergencies and help maintain the integrity and high standards of the estate at all times. Key Responsibilities Deliver exceptional service to residential and commercial tenants Conduct routine and emergency property inspections Monitor and supervise contractors and site works Respond quickly and professionally to urgent issues (e.g. leaks, break-ins) Maintain up-to-date knowledge of the buildings and their operational status Coordinate key handling, mail delivery, and meter readings Assist with resident onboarding and move-ins Report estate-wide issues such as safety risks, anti-social behaviour, or maintenance needs Collaborate with the Lettings, Property Management, Security, and Sustainability teams What We're Looking For Essential Skills & Experience: Minimum 2 years' experience in residential property or facilities Proven problem-solving ability in a hands-on role Clear, confident verbal and written communication skills Calm, professional, and courteous under pressure Able to work independently and take initiative, while being a reliable team player Tech-literate and comfortable using property systems and apps You'll also be: Organised, detail-oriented, and proactive Personable, empathetic, and always willing to go the extra mile Solution-focused with a strong sense of accountability and pride in your work Flexible and responsive in a dynamic, resident-facing role What You'll Get in Return A private apartment/flat in Chelsea (SW3) included in the package Competitive salary and benefits The chance to work on one of London's most prestigious residential portfolios A supportive team culture where your input is valued Career development opportunities and training Involvement in forward-thinking, sustainability-led estate initiatives Sound like you?
