About the Role:
We are seeking a reliable and organised Logistics Administrator to join our busy logistics team in Grimsby. This is an excellent opportunity for someone with strong administrative skills and an interest in transport and operations to play a key role in ensuring the smooth running of daily transport activities.
Key Responsibilities:
Coordinating and scheduling transport operations to meet delivery deadlines
Communicating with drivers, warehouse staff, and customers
Accurately maintaining transport records and documentation
Monitoring delivery progress and resolving any issues or delays
Processing paperwork including delivery notes, invoices, and manifests
Ensuring compliance with company procedures and transport regulations
Supporting the wider logistics team with general administrative duties
Requirements:
Previous experience in an administrative role (transport/logistics experience desirable but not essential)
Strong organisational and time management skills
Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
Good attention to detail and accuracy
Proficiency in Microsoft Office (especially Excel and Outlook)
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple tasks
