Our client, a global retailer with huge growth plans, is looking to recruit a Logistics Administrator to join their supply chain team at their UK head office near Marlow. You will support in the cost effective, timely and compliant movement of all imported and exported stock, ensuring the smooth flow of goods from origin to final delivery destination. Previous experience in supply chain or logistics is desirable but not essential. The successful candidate will be methodical, highly organized and possess excellent communication and administration skills. They will be confident dealing with data, numerical and analytical and comfortable using Excel. £28k plus bonus and fantastic benefits. Hybrid working. Duties include Act as main point of contact for Freight Forwarders and Distribution Centre on imports and exports to ensure a smooth flow of goods Communicate any stock delays Calculate freight pre costings and communicate these to the teams in order to assist them in making informed decisions Confidently check and flag any errors on customs entries e.g. commodity codes, customs procedure codes as well as calculating duty and VAT Provide support and information to the Supply Chain Manager and attend meetings as required, in order to review and monitor service levels and key performance indicators to meet business needs Ensure all import/export processes/customs pra...
