Job Description:
Responsibilities:
- Oversee and manage the entire logistics process, including inventory management, warehousing, and shipping.
- Develop and implement logistics strategies to ensure timely delivery of goods and services.
- Coordinate with suppliers, manufacturers, and customers to optimize supply chain efficiency.
- Monitor and analyse KPIsto identify areas for improvement.
- Ensure compliance with all relevant regulations and standards.
- Manage and mentor a team of logistics professionals, fostering a collaborative and productive work environment.
- Experience in handling perishables (advantageous).
- Prepare and present reports on logistics performance to senior management.
Requirements:
- Proven experience as a Logistics Supervisor / Logistics Manager
- Strong knowledge of logistics processes, supply chain management and shipping processes
- Excellent organizational and problem-solving skills.
- Proficiency in logistics software (ERP/CRM) and shipping documentation
- Good leadership and team management abilities.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- 3PL experience
