As the Logistics Manager, you’ll be instrumental in the smooth and safe running of a fast-paced site for a residential developer of 900 units. You will be sole logistics manager, ensuring smooth running of site and following H&S.
Your responsibilities will include:
* Coordinating all site logistics, including deliveries and waste management
* Maintaining site cleanliness, overseeing storage areas and ensuring access routes are clear and safe
* Ensuring that site logistics plans and traffic management systems are being followed
* Liaising with sub-contractors and site teams to ensure timely logistics support
* Preferably coordinating tower crane activities and lifts with relevant qualifications
* Managing a team of logistics operatives and labourers as required
Requirements:
* Proven experience as a Logistics Manager on large residential or mixed-use schemes
* Strong organisational and communication skills
* Experience managing waste, deliveries, and access on busy sites
* Crane coordination experience highly desirable
* Valid CSCS card, SMSTS & First Aid
* CPCS (Crane Supervisor or Appointed Person) a plus
