JDR is recruiting for a Maintenance Electrical Engineer to work in a manufacturing site in Wellington, Somerset.
Salary: £35,777 per annum Shift: Monday - Thursday 7:30am-4:30pm Friday 7:30am-12:30pm Immediate start Permanent contract
The Role: As a Maintenance Electrical Engineer you will be working within a manufacturing environment and your responsible primarily for the electrically biased maintenance and repair of all production equipment and machinery and site plant to ensure continuous production and process improvement.
Duties: Maintains machinery & equipment to an acceptable & safe standard to ensure that production targets and quality standards are continuously met. Responsible for the timely and acceptable installation of new machinery and equipment as required. Adopts a pro-active approach to machinery maintenance and repair to ensure continuous improvement of production efficiencies. Conducts acceptable and timely electrical maintenance and repair as appropriate. Conducts acceptable and timely ancillary mechanical maintenance and repair as appropriate Conducts acceptable and timely Pre-Planned Maintenance (PPM) tasks as appropriate Liaises with Maintenance Manager and Production, Despatch and Stores Teams to ensure awareness of anticipated downtime and reduced efficiencies.
