The Opportunity
CV Technical is recruiting on behalf of a well-established manufacturing operation in Leicestershire for an experienced Maintenance Electrician to join their days-based maintenance team. This is a permanent, days-only position offering a strong salary and a stable, supportive working environment.
The business places a strong emphasis on equipment reliability, electrical safety and continuous improvement. Whilst a background in heavy manufacturing is an advantage, it is not a requirement - candidates with solid electrical competence and the right attitude are equally encouraged to apply.
The Role
Plan and carry out preventive maintenance on electrical and control systems to maximise equipment reliability and uptime Diagnose and resolve electrical faults efficiently, minimising production downtime Service and maintain motors, drives, PLCs, control panels, sensors and associated electrical equipment Support condition monitoring activities including thermography, insulation resistance testing and vibration analysis Assist with electrical installation, testing and inspection in line with current IET Wiring Regulations (BS7671) Contribute to continuous improvement projects targeting system reliability, downtime reduction and production efficiency Maintain accurate maintenance records and documentation within the site CMMS Work closel...
