Job Description
Job Title: Maintenance Engineer (Electrical Bias)
Location: Doveridge
Salary: £50,000- £55,000
Shift: 4 on 4 off days and nights
A fantastic opportunity has arisen for an experienced Maintenance Engineer with an electrical bias to join a well-established and growing manufacturing business based in Doveridge. This site operates within a fast paced production environment and has recently invested heavily in machinery and plant improvements, creating an excellent opportunity for an engineer looking to develop their technical skills within a modern facility.
This role would suit a strong electrically biased Maintenance Engineer who enjoys fault finding and problem solving within an industrial setting. The successful Maintenance Engineer will benefit from working within a supportive engineering team while gaining exposure to a wide range of production and plant equipment.
In this role, you will be responsible for carrying out planned preventative maintenance as well as responding to breakdowns across production machinery and site equipment. You will play a key role in electrical fault finding, repair work, and continuous improvement activities to help maximise machine uptime and ensure the smooth running of the operation.

Non-Negotiable Requirements of the Maintenance Engineer
Electrical bias with strong fault finding skills
Experience working within a manufacturing or industrial environment
Experience carrying out planned and reactive maintenance
Requirements for the Maintenance Engineer
Experience maintaining production machinery and plant equipment
Strong electrical fault finding and diagnostic skills
Ability to respond to breakdowns and complete repairs efficiently
Experience working as a Maintenance Engineer in the UK
Desirable Requirements
Electrical engineering qualification
Experience working with PLC controlled machinery
Multi-skilled maintenance experience
