An established manufacturer is seeking a Maintenance Engineer to support installation, commissioning, preventative maintenance, reactive repairs, and continuous improvement activities across a range of equipment. This role is ideal for a multi‑skilled engineer who enjoys hands‑on problem‑solving, working with complex machinery, and ensuring equipment reliability within a fast‑paced engineering environment.
Key Responsibilities
Carry out planned preventative maintenance (PPM) and reactive maintenance on a variety of electro‑mechanical machinery.
Troubleshoot and repair electrical, electronic, and mechanical faults to minimise downtime.
Fault finding
Conduct root‑cause analysis and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives.
Ensure machinery operates safely and efficiently in line with engineering standards.
Maintain accurate maintenance records, job sheets, and technical documentation.
Collaborate with production, engineering, and technical teams to resolve issues and optimise performance.Experience & Skills Required
Strong background in electro‑mechanical maintenance within a manufacturing, industrial, or engineering environment.
Solid mechanical capability including strip‑down, rebuild, alignment, bearings, pumps, pneumatics, and hydraulics.
Strong fault‑finding skills across electrical, electronic, and mechanical disciplines.
Good communication skills, with a proactive and flexible approach to workload and priorities.
Competent IT skills for reporting, documentation, and communication.
NVQ Level 3 in Engineering (Electrical or Mechanical) or equivalent qualification. Thank you for your application.
