We’re recruiting for a Maintenance Engineer to join a high-performing manufacturing operation in Cambridgeshire.
This Maintenance Engineer role sits within an established engineering team supporting a fast-paced production environment.
The Role
As a Maintenance Engineer, you’ll be responsible for:

Electrical fault finding on AC / DC motors and drives
*
Reading and interpreting electrical and pneumatic schematics
*
Mechanical breakdown response and fault diagnosis
*
Planned preventative maintenance
*
Reactive maintenance
*
Root cause analysis using structured problem-solving techniques
*
Supporting continuous improvement projects
This Maintenance Engineer position requires someone comfortable working both independently and within a team environment.
What We’re Looking For
*
Minimum 5 years’ maintenance experience (including apprenticeship)
*
NVQ Level 3 in a Maintenance discipline
*
Electrical bias with mechanical capability
*
Strong fault-finding ability
*
Positive, proactive attitude
