Job Title: Multi-Skilled Engineer

Location: East Yorkshire

Monday to Thursday days based 6am to 6pm, and some hours will occasionally be necessary on a Friday morning to be paid at an overtime rate.

Due to continued development across our site, we are looking to recruit a Multi-Skilled Engineer to strengthen our engineering team.

The Role

We are seeking a hands-on Multi-Skilled Engineer to support and work alongside our Site Engineering Manager in maintaining and improving our production facilities.

Working within a well-invested and continually developing food production environment, the successful candidate will play a key role in keeping equipment running efficiently, reducing downtime, and supporting future site improvements.

Key Responsibilities

* Carry out planned preventative maintenance (PPM) on production equipment and site machinery

* Diagnose and repair mechanical and electrical faults to minimise downtime

* Support the Engineering Manager with maintenance planning and site improvements

* Assist with installation and commissioning of new equipment

* Work closely with production teams to maintain operational efficiency

* Ensure all work complies with health & safety and food safety standards

* Maintain clear and accurate maintenance records

Candidate Requirements

* Previous experience as a Multi-Skilled Engineer within manufacturing, food production, or FMCG environments

* Strong fault finding and problem-solving ability

* Experience working with mechanical and electrical systems

* Ability to work independently and as part of a team

* Good communication and organisational skills

Desirable

* Electrical certification or qualifications
