Maintenance Engineer (PLC Training) £45,000 - £50,000 + International Travel + Full Training + Progression Bedford Are you an Electrical Maintenance Engineer with PLC fault-finding experience looking to step into industrial automation design with full training and hands-on project involvement? This well-established machinery manufacturer designs and builds advanced converting equipment supplied to customers worldwide. Their projects typically run 4-9 months, giving you variety and the satisfaction of seeing machines go from concept through build, testing and commissioning. They are now looking for a Maintenance Engineer who wants to step up into controls. You'll receive structured training in PLC programming, HMI development, drives, electrical design and machine commissioning. Once trained, you'll travel internationally (mainly Europe and the USA) to support installations and customer acceptance. If you're a hands-on Maintenance Engineer with a background in PLC Fault-finding who wants to advance into automation, this is the ideal opportunity. The Role:

* Assist in designing electrical circuits and control systems

* Learn PLC programming, HMI development and drives configuration

* Support machine testing, debug and software development

* Take part in commissioning and customer acceptance (with full training)

* International travel for commissioning (Europe & USA)

* Produce simple schematics in CAD The Person:

* Electrical Maintenance Engineer, Service Engineer or similar

* Comfortable fault finding or making small changes on PLCs (any brand)
