Maintenance Engineer

Were supporting a well-invested FMCG manufacturing site in Harlow thats strengthening its engineering team due to continued demand. Its a fast-moving environment with plenty of variety, modern kit and a team that values reliability and ownership.

The Role

Youll be responsible for keeping high-volume production lines running safely and efficiently. The work combines reactive maintenance, planned maintenance and continuous improvement.

This role is days only- 4 on 4 off.

Key Responsibilities:

Electrical & mechanical fault-finding across production and packing machinery Carrying out PPMs and identifying improvement opportunities Supporting equipment upgrades, installations and commissioning Working closely with production teams to maximise uptime Ensuring all work is completed safely and in line with industry standards

Requirements:

Multi-skilled background with strong electrical competence Experience in FMCG / manufacturing / automated environments Confident diagnosing faults under pressure Proactive, reliable and comfortable working a 4 on 4 off pattern- DAYS only NVQ Level 3 / HNC / apprenticeship or equivalent
