: Engineering Supervisor KEY RESPONSIBILITIES Assume responsibility for the mechanical and electrical integrity of equipment by carrying out the following: Effective plannedmaintenanceinspections using CMMS Recommend improvements tomaintenanceschedules Carry out safety checks on equipment in line with legislation and best practice Overhaul and repair of plant; continually monitor plant conditions and accurately report defectsbreakdown/fault data Carry out fault finding and repair of electrical and mechanical equipment and components, no programming required but need ability to check I/Os, read schematics and check HMI screens Installation of new machinery and the movement of machinery within the factory Work with the production team to minimise machinery downtime. Ensure key operational information is effectively communicated to colleagues and other shift teams; complete any relevant documentation on time and in full. Assist with other projects as and when required. Salary, Type of Contract and Hours Paying up to £53,500 Shift pattern Alternating double days 06001430 1330-2200 Monday-Friday and 0800-1200every other Saturday. Permanent Contract 40/44 Hours per Week (Average 42 Hrs per week) Skills and Behaviours Ability to work to a high standard with an attention to detail. Ability to maintain professional boundaries and confidentiality and build relationships with people from a variety of backgrounds. A self-starter with high energy level.
