Info about what the Maintenance Engineer role entails
As a Maintenance Engineer working in a team of 5 covering the UK you will be supporting maintenance contracts (fault analysis & preventative maintenance) in London, Manchester, Newcastle, Dublin etc. When not on site you will also act as a resource supporting project teams with testing and commissioning activities.
You will get lots of visibility across the business with lots of different technologies - always learning and developing new skills.

Essential Requirements of a Maintenance Engineer (Fault Finding / Projects)
Fault Cause analysis / fault diagnosis experience - ideally with PLCs
Able to read and understand schematic diagrams
Root cause analysis experience diagnosing software issues / faults
Keen to learn and hungry to develop experience in different technical areas with complicated systems and subsystems
Able to work under pressure in customer facing environments
Self-motivated, willing to travel UK wide and be on call (either as a main or standby 50% of the time and paid at £1.75 per hour + overtime when called out)
Full UK driving license

Desirable Requirements of a Maintenance Engineer (Fault Finding / Projects)
Electrical / Electronics / Software TestingQualifications
Experience point to point testing of wiring panels.
Knowledge of PLC technologies (any PLC is good Mitsubishi, Siemens, Rockwell, Omron, Allen Bradley, etc) - understanding how the logicworks, able to fault find logics and interrogate the system.
Knowledge of control solutions and systems integration - SCADA (is the overall system), the application is Panorama, Codra is the HMI at the top end.
