Are you a skilled Maintenance Engineer looking for your next challenge in a fast-paced food manufacturing environment?

We are recruiting for a Multi-Skilled Maintenance Engineer (Electrical Bias) to join a well-established food production site in the Huntingdon area.


The Role

As a key member of the engineering team, you will be responsible for ensuring maximum equipment up time and site efficiency through both planned and reactive maintenance.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Carry out Planned Preventative Maintenance (PPMs) across production and site equipment

  • Respond promptly to breakdowns, fault-find, and implement effective repairs

  • Diagnose and repair electrical faults on machinery and control systems

  • Mechanical and electrical maintenance on production machines.

  • Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives

  • Ensure all work is carried out safely and in line with food safety standards


About You

  • NVQ Level 3 (or equivalent) in an engineering discipline

  • Multi-skilled engineer with a strong electrical bias

  • Proven experience within a food manufacturing or FMCG environment

  • Strong fault-finding skills in both electrical and mechanical systems

  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team

  • Good understanding of health & safety and hygiene standards

4 on 4 off blocks of 4 days and 4 nights

£55,426.80 per annum
