As part of this growth, they're looking for a passionate and experienced Maintenance Engineer to play a key role in their expanding team.

Info about what the Maintenance Engineer role entails

**DAY SHIFT** (not weekend or evening work)

Mon to Thurs 8am to 4:30pm

Fri 8am to 3pm

Key Responsibilities:

• Electrical and mechanical maintenance, fault-finding, and repair of plant and machinery
• Diagnosing issues on PLC controlled systems, hydraulics, and pneumatics
• Planned preventative maintenance and breakdown response
• Installing and upgrading machinery and equipment
• Supporting site facilities and working with external contractors
• Contributing to continuous improvement and site development projects

Essential Requirements of the Maintenance Engineer

• NVQ / City & Guilds or equivalent qualification
• Either Time Served apprenticeship or equivalent experience
• Strong electrical and mechanical experience in a manufacturing environment
• PLC fault-finding experience (ie Omron, Rockwell, or Mitsubishi ideal)
• Positive, problem-solving mindset with flexibility to support breakdowns and planned works
